Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
ROUND 2 CONTINUES Ardrea cackles to extend the duration of her protective hex on Cyrius. She commands the feather token whip to attack the despicable doppelganger. The whip flies out and careens into the creature [7 hp nonlethal and the doppelganger is grappled] Resisting the venom, Cyrius empowers...

Worrel floats south before dismissing the effect of the potion... Free - Dismiss Gaseous Form Dismissing Gaseous Form is not a free action. Potions duplicate the effect of a spell. Per the SRD , dismissing a spell is a standard action. Let me know if that changes your plan. Dismissing a spell is a ...

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
ROUND 1 CONTINUES Ardrea uses her protective luck hex on Cyrius. Despite the wave of weakness flowing through his veins, Cyrius reconfigures his mind blade as a rapier and thrusts at the creature which bit him (A3). Good question. According to its description, the whip works like a dancing weapon, so it takes a standard action to initially send it to attack. |

Prost on the move into room to 1919,,, stows his sling staff and retrieves an alchemist fire (in handy haversack), and I think that is all i can do...or is that too much Yes, this is three move actions, which is too much. In general, you can make a move action and a standard action, two move action...

SURPRISE ROUND CONTINUES Tex steps back so that he is halfway in, halfway out of the illusionary mirror and fires an arrow at the spider that tried to land on him. He misses. Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
Is it possible to load alchemist fire in a sling weapon? I think you'd need a special kind of sling, since a flask is a lot bigger than a sling bullet or stone. At least in the pictures I've seen of alchemical weapons, anyway. Something more like a lacrosse stick than a sling. Cool idea, though...

OUT OF CHARACTER I assume then she doesnt have an action left to attack. if she can 5' step, she shifts to 2217

Lola could drop her crossbow, draw her short sword, then attack. And 5' step. |

Cyrius follows the doppelganger through the mirror, followed by Fluffy, Tex, Ardrea, and Lola. Worrel drifts along, rising in the air so that he is hovering over his companions. Prost delays to check for anything of interest in the bedroom. He has time to open the wardrobe and notice that there are ...

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
I've just now realized I've got Worrel still in gaseous form, but also holding the doppelganger's rope, which doesn't actually work, since a creature in gaseous form can't manipulate objects. Should we say that Worrel dismissed the gaseous form and picked the rope back up after crossing the beams? ...

Prost steps into the room, past the doppelganger. He doesn't spot any traps. It appears to be an ordinary bedroom. The doppelganger leads the party into the room, walks up to the mirror, and steps right through it. It does indeed seem to be an illusion. Worrel feels a gentle tug on the rope. It feel...

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
Prost advances towards the double doors at the end of the hall, then leaps back as he feels the floor begin to tilt underneath him. Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
By 'trapped', what exactly do you mean?, asks Worrel. Annoying noises, and the like, telling your friends that someone is approaching? Or, explosions, swinging blades or the floor opening up to drop us into a pit full of more octopi? As he moves to the front of the marching order, Prost comments I ...

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections
The party drops a doppelganger corpse in the water. The doppelganger prisoner doesn't seem bothered by this, but his features are a bit hard to read. With Worrel in gaseous form, the party makes its way across the slippery, wobbly planks into the next room, unmolested by the invisible stalkers.
