Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

Worrel shakes the rope gently before saying, Lead on, then.

Worrel would normally feel better with his sword in hand but, at the moment, keeping hold of the doppelganger seems like a better option.

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

By 'trapped', what exactly do you mean?, asks Worrel.

"Annoying noises, and the like, telling your friends that someone is approaching? Or, explosions, swinging blades or the floor opening up to drop us into a pit full of more octopi?"

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

"I can try," replies Worrel.

"Is there any rope to help you go up on the other side? Or, handholds on the sides of the shaft?," he asks the doppelganger.

Worrel looks down at the water, far below.

"How deep is the water?," he asks. "And, exactly how far across to the control chamber?"

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

Just so it's clear, Worrel states to the doppelganger. I am going to be holding the rope, like I was holding up a companion who had imbibed too much to drink. Maybe one of my companions on the other side, too. Make yourself look like a human, elf, whatever. Not a halfling, unless you want us to car...

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

Worrel looks to his companions for agreement, before making any motion to untie the doppelganger.

Once it seems his companions agree with this course, he releases the creature's feet and arms while keeping several loops around its waist. Stout enough for someone to grip while following close.

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

"They were fierce defenders," replies Worrel.

"Speaking of leading us ... how do we follow you?," he asks. All the while, wondering how much he and his companions can trust this doppelganger to not leave them in the midst of a trapped prison.

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

Speaking with your boss would be best, replies Worrel. Someone who can make decisions and would know about who would want our groups to fight, rather than cooperate.

The paladin looks around at the ruined warehouse. When, and where, can we meet?

Re: [Active Thread] The Hall of Harsh Reflections

Worrel looks to his companions, checking that they agree with this action before healing the doppelganger. Once someone nods, he invokes a minor healing. Just enough to restore the creature to conciousness. By "invokes a minor healing" do you mean to use a lay on hands? You have 2 left (n...

OUT OF CHARACTER
Worrel's CMB is +10

Worrel fetches some rope from his pack while keeping his eyes forward. Once his hand feels the rope, he pulls it forward and approaches the fallen opponent.

THINKING: Like tying up a calf, thinks Worrel as he wraps the rope around the opponent's ankles and wrists.
