Worrel tries to rip his sword free from the mimic.



Unfortunately, the sword is stuck fast. Instead, Worrel stands fast in an attempt to keep the creature from dragging him away.

Reflex saves below, including penalty. And, it appears that Worrel has simply got himself stuck even more tightly ...

 

Worrel attacks both the creature that has attacked him and the one grappling Tex. Since the creatures cannot get away, Worrel intends to cause as much damage as he can. Worrel advances towards the same door as Prost. He moves as far as possible, trusting that Prost will wait to open the door when everyone is in position.

Worrel draws his sword and settles his shield upon his arm. He glances back at his companions, checking to determine if they are ready to advance.

“"There are two doors to the south and one to the north. The southern rooms should be smaller."”

“"Well, there seems to be nothing for it but to go in the front door,"” says Worrel to his companions.

“"Perhaps I should go in front in case there are guards, or similar, inside."”

“I can apply some protective magics,” says Worrel.

“Should we expect more rogues?”

“"I agree,"” states Worrel.

“"Should we look into this tonight?,"” he asks. “"Or, do you believe that this is better done in the morning?"”

Worrel quietly returns from storing hsi weapon, listening to the innkeeper relate how Elaxan acted.

“"You could speak with the other patrons, too,"” adds Worrel.

Worrel also waits for the guard to arrive. Thinking about it, he returns upstairs to clean snd store his sword.

Worrel will concentrate for a moment to determine whether Elaxan or any of the items carry the taint of evil.

"I am not any more skilled than you, Tex," replies Worrel. "Although I can call upon Mitra for healing, if required. And, I agree that we need to be able to speak with Elaxan." Worrel stands back, blood still dripping from his sword. He starts to clean his weapon, deciding again...

Worrel pursues Elaxan across the room, striking again with his sword when he closes.

Worrel pursues Elaxan across the room, attacking when he closes with the acrobat who just wounded him.

Sorry for the delay. I was about to update, then realized I was missing actions from Lola, Ardrea, and Prost. We are due for a full round of actions now. See initiative order below. If Worrel moves to where he assumes Elaxan was last (0512), he'll spot Elaxan's current position with enough movement...

Worrel continues to move through the crowd towards where he last saw Elaxan.

Worrel continues down the stairs, trying to get into the common room where there is more room to move.

Worrel continues to descend the stairs as quickly as he can without falling. Injuring himself, or worse, will not help anyone.

The voice tells Worrel that, yes, he in should investigate downstairs. He grabs his sword and shield, forgoing armor in the name of speed, before existing his room.

Making as much speed as possible in the crooked hallways and stairs, Worrel begins heading downstairs.

From the third floor, Worrel can barely make out his companion's voice in the shouted .. argument? Fight? He can't tell exactly what is going on. Perhaps this is simply an argument. He glances at this armor, deciding against trying to don the platemail. Should he decide that he is needed downstairs,...

Piotr climbs the stairs all the way up to the third floor, farther from the noise and more conducive to prayer and preparation for the coming journey.

After thanking (and paying) the staff and Tarquin for the breakfast, Worrel goes in search of an enchanter willing to work on his armor and shield. Nothing spectacular, simply making the items magical. Worrel current has MW Full Plate and a MW Heavy Steel Shield. He would like to have each of these ...

“"Yes, Eligos did refer us to your establishment,"” replies Worrel. “And, I believe, we will accept your offer."”

Worrel will wait for someone to turn over the documents and for Eligos to indicate that he is ready to hear about their battles with the worm-ridden creatures.

“"I would also appreciate some water,"” replies Worrel.

While he waits, Worrel studies the scene on the carpet while trying to remember if it was part of his instruction.

“"We have a message for Master Eligos,"” replies Worrel. “"From Sage Penkawr in Rastingdrung."”

Worrel hesitates for a moment. “"May we speak with him?”

“"We have a message for Master Eligos,"” replies Worrel. “"From Sage Penkawr."”

Worrel agrees with moving onwards, getting through the crowd as quickly as possible.
