Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin harrumphs and says, Now is not the time to figure it out. Let's just go with the original plan. If the wagons cannot be asked to do the task, then none of us should. Now, Amon, I understand that you have been developing some magical ability. Do you think that any of your spells would aid us in...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin says, Amon, I was actually hoping to perhaps have the jif move without a driver. Once the jif begins moving away from the platform, my guess will be that the dudes will start shooting their weapons at anyone inside the wagon. These wagons move by themselves, so I was hoping that they could jus...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin gets a thought, and still in Common, he says, Occasionally, people in town would be trampled by horses and carriages. I would think that these horseless carriages would be just as effective at trampling people. Perhaps they can be used to trample over the dudes? Would that help at all? Other t...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin says in Common (not Nauthanese), I am no battle strategist, but perhaps we should worry about those stairs, as well. The last thing we want is to come down on the platform, only to have the dudes rush up and attack us from above! Perhaps two groups can assault the dudes. Once the platform desc...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin surveys the party and offers to try to pull forth the power of Seker for the wounded. Without his book, though, he fails many times, but eventually succeeds. He will go through his more powerful healing magics first on those more injured. He will not heal himself at all. I realize that he can ...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin says in a firm commanding voice as he begins to try to stand again, stumbling a bit from the shock of pain, but pushing through it and continuing to stand anyway, Drop your weapons and surrender. You are no longer Dudes. You are to stand trial for your acts of aggression, but after your punish...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin crawls another five feet diagonally foward (either direction, just need him closer since the vertical distance puts him out of range) and tries his next fiery burst to catch not only both dudes A and E, but also the console that dude E is working on.

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin crawls from P13 (You have him in Q12, but he crawled to P13 last round) to O14 and fires a burst such that it hits both Dude A and Dude E.

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin crawls forward ten feet as a full round action.
Oldin crawls forward five feet to P13, then looks up to see if Shareev is in the way. If not, he lets loose a fiery burst right in front of dude F.

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin, with blood running out of his arm and side, does a somersault in pain. He winds up 10' forward with a trail of blood from where the bullets grazed him. Not really sure what is causing him pain, as this is his first time being shot, Oldin releases another blast of fire at M8 hoping to cause th...

Re: [Active Thread] Grease Monkies
Oldin rushes to S12 and detonates a fiery burst in the upper left corner of O8 (should be enough to possibly hit the wagon, possibly causing damage to their equipment). Next, he drops to the ground and puts his hands on his head, pressing his head into the ground, averting his eyes from any possible...

Re: [Active Thread] Assualt on the aerie of the ... uh, Dudes
Oldin heads over to the pile of remains and begins to gather up the pieces of his destroyed prayerbook, careful to make sure that not a single piece is lost. He takes 20 on the search check to find each individual piece. Depending on how long it takes, the rest of the group may move on without him.

Re: [Active Thread] Assualt on the aerie of the ... uh, Dudes
Oldin says, I'll be all right. I accidentally fired a blast of fire at the khun when I meant to wait for my prayerbook to be out of the blast reach. I remembered you saying that the ammunition would explode, but in the confusion, I sent my burst at the wrong place. I have lost my connection to Seker...

Re: TOS+ without a laptop
In my opinion, yes. The amount of customization of your characters, and the amount of time and effort that can be saved when generating new characters, is tremendous. Once you learn how everything works, figuring out what bonuses mean is a snap. TOS was great, but when you have bonuses from a bunch ...

Oldin yells, open the gate! please! He holds his action. If the dude's khun comes anywhere near his direction, he will drop to the ground like a ton of bricks and wait for the gate to open.

Re: [Active Thread] Assualt on the aerie of the ... uh, Dudes
Oldin doubles over in pain as his prayerbook is destroyed, the shock of the lost bond causing him to bleed from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. With the sudden loss of his familiar, he does not hear Brand's challenge, and as the dude turns, Oldin looks pathetic in an attempt to convince him to open...

Re: [Active Thread] Assualt on the aerie of the ... uh, Dudes
Oldin switches directions towards the gate. He moves to O21, still pretending that he can't speak and is trying to avoid the bullets. As he moves, he tries to see where his book is. If his book is near the haynoon (not his initial intention, as he was going to try to destroy the haynoon), he will ta...

Re: New PbP
Unearthed arcana had some of it, but really, it is a mix between D&D and Exalted. I love the White Wolf system of separating out skills and attributes. Instead of having a skill always attached to a single attribute, you make it circumstantial. You add different bonuses in different situations. ...

Re: New PbP
The Myrallus SRD is nearly complete. All it is missing is spellcasting mishaps. If you are interested in the campaign, please read through the SRD and let me know if you have any questions. It is only 9 pages long. It is a new system, and it may be incomplete. In fact, as I am writing this, I have t...

Re: [Active Thread] Assualt on the aerie of the ... uh, Dudes
Perhaps I should run out there. While I will likely get myself killed, it might keep them in the tower, especially if they see only one man running towards them. Or perhaps, I can wave, as though I am in trouble, running to them for help... I can also make gestures like I cannot speak, so they migh...

Re: New PbP
Sounds good. I'd be interested. Would it be mostly roleplaying or would there be a whole load of epic level monsters to fight? I have two ideas for the campaign. One idea is to start at level 1 and gain a level a week or a level every other week. That style campaign would be a problem-solving campa...
