Tapatalk support for the forum?

Any chance of implementing tapatalk on these forums? I'd love to be able to read them on my phone (browser works, but not exactly formatted for easy reading).

My investigation of this revealed that there are security concerns with such an application - and it is not supported by the PHPBB community...

Fair enough. Its my understanding that the security issues have been resoved (http://startrekguide.com/community/view ... 2&p=124552) but I respect your decisions. I hope that you'll look again down the road to see if your concerns have been addressed.

I did just notice that you have a comment showing up at the top of all the pages in chrome. Looks like just a typo in the commenting syntax.

Testing tapatalk for the first time. Seems to work. We'll see if I use out much though. The bbc code is not visible. If in pbp, I think the browser might be more useful. But you can pop open the browser from within tapatalk, so that's nice.

When I first opened the forum on my phone, I was prompted for the taptalk app. Having no idea what it was, I canceled. I can''t get it back now to at least even try it out to see if it's worth me having.

Its just an app that lets you access the forum. Makes it easier to read and browse and post, since its formatted for mobile. http://www.tapatalk.com/mobile.php

I just mean that when posting a reply, there are no quick bbc code buttons, like there are when you're using a browser. Buttons like Talk, or the new Dice button. I'm sure if you typed int eh code, it would be fine. but just that the quick buttons are not there.

Really? They remove the BBCODE quicklinks buttons?
Perhaps there is a setting for this? This could be investigated in Tapatalk's PHPBB sub-forum... !

It's 2.99 to use this app. I get better results just opening the browser. I don't get why I would want to pay for something that I already get in my cell phone plan.
