Karl goes to the tree, which is at least within earshot of the 'group' and sits down. He then looks up at the teacher and rolls his eyes “There appeared to be about 10 of them. Some how Agod and a couple others took a few out, I took about 1 or 2 down, and then someone fell down, I healed them, and a blast came out and took out the last one. At least that's what I care to recall or know as I do not wish to waste energy or power.” as he suddenly chuckles, knowing full well that the teacher probably realizes that he has more energy left to use.

Once he feels the teachers question has been answered, Agod will move away and let Karl do what he pleases. When asked about the battle, Agod gets a big grin on his face and goes to sit with the teacher. “I got to crush 2 skulls. I am not sure, but I think Meph here got one before he was badly hurt.” Agod gestures to each of the others as he says there names. “Karl froze one to death. Rice blasted one and even my little Maribeth took one down.”

OUT-OF-CHARACTER:    I am not sure why, but going through the battle we killed 6 Displacer Beasts but I thought there were only 5

THINKING: The only thing the pixie did was sit there and eat popcorn.

“Oh yeah, the pixie. He was enjoying himself while eating popcorn. I try to make friends with it but it wouldn't help us. He did give me some popcorn though. It was really good.”

“Yes Pixies are good people to make friends with. there was one in my class and party when i attended school here. Meph what of you. you feel in battle it seems”

Meph scowls, not willing to be reminded of how he fell. “I took one of the beasts down in a single hit before they all jumped me at once. I was careless and paid the price. That is all.”

“that is a price too pay but i hope that you learned form it. ok now let us reflect on what happened.”he will close his eyes and start meditating after about 3 hours of this

“OK class dismissed. your next class is at sun up. you are too meet Professor Peesblossem at the entry to the Theives guild. do not be late. she is not one for tardiness.”


If anyone trys to talk during the reflection time he will stop you. alos when you get back to your tower you find that there are trail rations in it.

During his meditation period, Karl is also meditating, delving deeper into his own mind, reflecting upon the battles that rage within, attempting to keep it under control. After he hears the teacher he looks up “You kept us here for this long and not say a word???” as he stands up and walks off towards a nearby hut. Before fully leaving though, he uses one of his points in his power point reserve and pushes his hand down towards the ground, leaving a dent.
