DWB: Return to the Monastery

In the small town of Falcon's Hollow life is hard enough struggling under the oppressive thumb of the Lumber Consortium; a corrupt logging company muscling out any chance of competition and opposition. Even as a sickness strikes and begins to spread, the Consortium does nothing to help. When an herbalist learns the source and nature of the sickness, it takes a small group of trouble makers to find the cure.

One being this makeshift elevator that can only take a few at a time. The other being a crevasse beyond the chained dwarf's forge. He points out that for the bigger folk, it may be a harder climb, but should still be faster than this elevator.

Present true, but what about a response to my post.

Drini will still check out the room with the dwarf in it first, but then he will proceed down the crevasse.

Scorpius will cautiously follow. When he reaches the crevasse, he takes a deep breath to steady himself and attempts to follow the group down.

Climb check (1d20+4=6)

Delastian looks at the crevase, shrugs and starts to make his way down before slipping and falling.

My apologies to you all for this extended delay. My current uncertain situation has me full of occupied duties trying to keep from losing my apartment.

On another note, I'm in need of a player to take over Erin, a character from Council of Thieves, who's player has dropped out.

When Drini enters the room, he makes a search of the dead dwarf and relieves the body of a masterwork adamantine hammer that had been their menace before. To Drini's horror though, when he touches the long chain that fought them as if of its own accord before, the chain twitches and writhes as if of a living force of its own. A closer look to the chain makes him think he can see faces formed on the very links. Drini then climbs through the fissure, but becomes stuck. Kay deftly climbs through passing Drini without realizing he's stuck. Ryiad attempts the same and cannot get any holds. He pauses to further study the crevasse before attempting again. Scorpius is beside Ryiad with the same luck at his climb attempt. Two kobolds stealthily scamper through the crevasse to join Kay on the other side and with while the others remain with them. Del looks at the crevasse and wonders where to begin. Azla stands there not knowing what to do.

With another pause, everyone sets to work as getting through, and squeezing through, the tight passage. The kobolds help with getting the children through, though the children try their best to avoid the kobolds.

This space is tight and difficult for small creatures, DC15. It's harder for medium creatures, DC20. I decided to have you all take 20 and thus take your time getting unstuck and getting through this climb. I have to open a new thread.

Also, I need to know if Azla is still active. I did not get a climb check from him.
