Devion looks high.
Devion, as if looking for someone in the sky says. I'm with you my comrades, such evil must be vanquished...

Devion prays in his mind.
Lomedae watch over us as we fight through perils, that evil will be set a sunder, and peace found amongst the fallen.

Devion looks back down at everyone smiles and draws his sword ready for action :D

Father Zantus considers for a moment Mak's request and nods. If you all can spare some time, I may be able to muster up some Portable Healing. Father Zantus departs and the group of you kill time by checking you gear and weapons and implements; cleaning, repairing, etc.

Sandpoint is clearly as small a town as any other of it's size. Rumor of your activity at the Sandpoint Glassworks seems to have spread. All this unusual activity has drawn much activity outside the building and concern, but more so, word had reach the Mayor of Sandpoint. Unexpectedly, Mayor Kendra Deverin strolls in to where you're at.

Agian, Sandpoint's Heroes have risen to to our aid. Most unfortunate the turn of events. Ameiko my dear, I'm truely sorry for the loss of your father, and with what's become of your brother's... Shall we say... Misguided, though treacherous, actions. This must be so overwhelming for you. The Mayor take Ameiko's hand in a comforting gesture.

Thanks, Lady Mayor, but even I have heard some of the rumors in regards to my father's activities. With all that has come about now, the Glassworks will turn over to me and I hope, with the blessing of many, to bring it back to full operation once everything has settled.

Of course Ameiko. I understand, and will do what I can to help support and encourage the Glassworks return to full operation again. Forgive me, but I'm understanding there was a journal from your brother? Might I be able to review it?

Whichever of you have the journal, you bring it forth and the Mayor reads through the pages. When she gets to the end she closes the small book and returns it back to the person she got it from. This is very alarming Ameiko. She looks to everyone in the room, No word of this can be let out, or the entire town will fall to chaos. As soon as Sheriff Hemlock returns, which I expect to be tomorrow morning, we'll have to have a meeting over this and discuss further action. Anyone who may learn of this would be alarmed, to say the least, in learning a woman they thought dead, and loved, has come to such madness.

A bit of a commotion is heard and when you all go to investigate, you see that the guards and Grovi's men have rounded up the goblins Mak had knocked out. They were prepping them for escort elsewhere for better containment. One of the men is questioning the goblins, but clearly not getting anything worth while. It may be best to keep these things held here for a bit, until we're able to secure a more discrete means of getting them to the garrison without alarming the people.

Yes, perhaps. It's up to Ameiko though. The Mayor looks to her.

They can't do more harm than already done.

Soon enough, Father Zantus returns grinning. You'll find that a bit of luck and good faith goes a long way. It seems that Vorvashali Voon has something that can be useful in you mission. When he heard that Violasha was here, he offered a wand of healing. It's used, he says it had maybe six uses left to it and can heal light wounds. He made sure to express that this was only on loan, he hopes to get the wand back to eventually replenish it. Violasha, he spoke well of your interest and skill in the arcane.

The Mayor politely interupts, What's going on here? Are you planning on entering those catacombs now?

Thank you, Father Zantus. I'll make sure to thank Vorvashali, too, when I see him next, and return the wand. Assuming, that is, we return from whatever peril awaits, Vi says, overdramatically. Can you work this wand, Dregs? Because I sure can't...

Mak also thanks Father Zantus.

With some partable healing magiks in the hands of the group, Mak turns to The Mayor
Yes, we will proceed immediately, to make sure there are no surprises... Would there be a magical source of light that we could borrow? We know not if any of these tunnels have lighting, and torches lasts only so long... Mak politely asks.

Also, I could make use of a light crossbow with some bolts, if one is around Mak asks.

The Mayor turns to one of the guards and calls for his crossbow and bolts. She hands it to Mak. If it's truly needed I might be able to provision you with one or two everburning torches.

Mak accepts the crossbow form the Mayor, with a bow and a Thank you! Indeed we'd better have a light source, as we don't know what we'll find there... It is probably guarded.

Turning to his group Mak says For items, specially the magical ones, I think we should do it logically, and give them to those who would use them most often. For instance, that ring needs to go to a melee fighter, who's probably going to be on the receiving end of melee weapons, or bites, more then others. So let's give this one to durmisht. For potions, we can split these up 1 each, except Dregs who can usually cure himself easily.

After we return, Mak will ask where to sell some of the stuff.
OUT OF CHARACTER
Mak proposes this (to expedite play)

PROPOSED ASSIGNMENT
1x Ring of Protection: durmisht
6x Potion CLW: All except Dregs
1x Masterwork Thieves Tools: Chada
30x Unclaimed arrows: Tuck

SELL THESE:
2x Usable Shortbows
1x Composite Shortbow (+1STR)
1x Masterwork Flute
How's that?

Durmisht nods after each of Mak's recommendations, saying at the end I will admit that this was a very hurtful experience for myself. I could do with something to eat and would like to escort Ms. Ameiko back to her establishment and grab some food before we depart. All that blood really drained me.

Tuck checks all the arrows he has collected and makes sure their fletchings are straight and their points are good.

Taking the potion, he thinks for a moment and hands it back to Mak Mak, take my potion. I will stay back from the melee combat as much as possible, but I think you could use it better when you are on the front line. I trust that if I am too fall, you will be there to keep me from dieing.

Eventually, Mayor Deverin bids her farewell after being satisfied the situation is contained and under control. Grovi's men seem to have the cleanup under reasonable control. The guards have the surviving goblins locked up and guards in the basement in a separate room from Tsuto. Questioning him was uneventful. He just said nothing. Didn't matter by the Mayor's opinion, or the man questioning Tsuto, they had the Journal. Even Ameiko decides it's time for her to leave. The Rusty Dragon needed her attention and she needed some rest.

You more than welcome to join me at the Rusty Dragon for food and drink, she says to Durmisht. She then turns to all of you, All of Sandpoint's Heroes are welcome. The question remains, however, on how secure that tunnel down there remains considering what was mentioned in the journal. In my adventuring days, I've learned well that putting off a possible hazzard, as this may be, usually comes to no good for the innocents. I'm greatful for your help, when it came. No telling what might have happened had Tsuto brought me before his Mistress. Ameiko leaves the Glassworks.

I agree, lady Ameiko. We should not delay, for we have no idea what threats these tunnels represent to the city... I will go now. Does anyone else feels like helping out to secure those tunnels asap? OR are more of you in need of tending to your bellies? Mak asks, looking at the others one by one.

Lady Ameiko? Hm... Her left brow raises slightly. Apparently she is not accustomed to hearing her name referred to with a title. She doesn't wait for anyone to decide on their choice. She has her Inn to run and now, Sandpoint Glassworks to reclaim. It's still fairly early; late morning to early noon.

Devion replies to mak, with a voice void of worry.

I do not know if I can fill my belly in good manner knowing there is a danger still lurking upon the inhabitants here. Let justice be my bread, and courage my refreshment!
What say the rest of you?

Devion speaks again before anyone answers saying.
Mak, I am ready for any challenge that awaits me, even more so to protect the people of this town. I also have great faith in our abilities, therefore i say let us continue, . . . and may Lomedae watch over us
