LoF: The Carrion King; Day Six - Taking Back Kelmarane

The wishes unleashed over the ages by two genies have warped the Pale Mountain region to keep alive both a terrible beast and a heroic protector. These wishes have subtly warped the weave of the world to put a handful of adventurers on a trail to Kelmarane. It is these adventurers who will tread the path of fate at its most treacherous juncture, and it is they who will ultimately chart the course of history.

We need a method to select/split gear... (to resolve any conflicts and get this game going!)
I attempted to kick start discussion on that topic HERE, but so far, only Arpat/benji gave comments...

The DM is awaiting us...!

While this is a critical part of Role Play, no, I'm not really waiting on that, but I suggest you come to a conclusion soon. I would like to see some definitive conclusion drawn to here regarding this. Once I start up again, there will be no going back. I will erase what I have recorded in the Loot Divider and will not accept any changes regarding the above loot.
While this is a critical part of Role Play,
Perhaps a critical part of role play - yet it is amazingly impractical in a PbP environment. For instance, are we *really* going to SELL curing potions if nobody asks for them? (That would be amazing, and I've yet to see this in a table top game!)

Seriously. Never doubt the possible. Why would you assume that the expendables such as potions are included in my comment? Tell you what, For this, I'm just going to do the splitting up my self from here on out and what you get you get. I tired of silly comments like this, and this whole loot thing never fully gets resolved anyhow. Once I've issued the division, you can either keep it or offer it. Any changes in gear with require you to make sure that I'm current or it will not be counted. Making sure it is current means telling me you added this or removed that and that you then get a reply from me confirming the change has been updated on my end for the DM Sheet and the Character Token.

We'll see how this works and go from there. I'll try to have something up tomorrow.

i guess we all have to be a little more progressive and grab the things we dont want to see gone. i think we make this a bigger issue then it actually is, so i like the approach from the DM.
in other games the one that takes the item is the one that has the item. it's that simple. Until now it was no problem.

I think where this became more "sticky" is that it's been a long time since any real division of loot could be done. This is a pretty big list of stuff mind you.

Erin puts on the normal leather armor and wears the dagger(+1) on her hip.
The funny slippers certainly can be usefull so she stuffs them into her backpack.
She takes two silversheen potions and stuffs them also in her backpack.
Two healing potions fit easily in her belt and when she thinks no-one is watching she grabs two more (changed).
She saves one CMW potion and puts it in her pouch.
She remembers that she saw a crosswow that is small enough for her to fire with one hand.. she searches all the loot "has anybody seen a hand crossbow somewhere?"
if she can't find the the hand crossbow with 20 bolts she will search for some arrows and takes them (30 arrows) and she searches for a quiver to put them in.
if she finds the crossbow she will drop the longbow. (no need for two ranged weapons)

After she has done her thing she wanders off and searches around in the building... just to see if there is nothing left behind... she now and then looks down to see what is going on. from a high point in the building she draws a quick map of the building... just for the archives of the society.

as she wanders around she investigates the machine where the harpy was working.... she makes a drawing in her book... maybe one of the scholars wants to see it.

Laron takes his new gear and puts the armour on, returning his current leather armour to the party loot. He puts the amulet on carefully, placing the medallion beneath his clothes. The potion is instantly stored in a pouch and the two healer kits are slung over each shoulder.

Ready to move on, he stands next to Haleen and waits for his next orders.

Scully will cast detect magic and look over the great axe to see if he can determine the bane type. He will also look over the wand of bull str as he puts it away to determine how many charges are left. Once he knows this information (if he can determine) he will share that info.

The axe I think was lawful outsider. The wand I think was 8 charges.

Updated Kroft to reflect additional gear.

With the gear sorted out, and high praise received, Kroft is ready to find out what else can be learned about his family's past. Shall we see what other trouble we can dispense with? he asks the team with a lop-sided smile on his face. For a while, he takes on the countenance of his true youth, years of sadness lifted away.

Once we link back up with Princess Almah, Ox would seek to know if she or her other people would KNOW anything about "'Vardishal'

With questions hurling her way, Almah puts a hand up for silence. a commanding tone, Almah says: We've had a great victory today. I'm understand though that the gnolls had some monster in their service and was last noted to be near the cemetery. Go there and find it, and kill it. After that, I say you take a rest.
