Sorry, hit the wrong link to copy from InvisCastle, but I think you can tell it was a bad roll anyway :-(

ROUND 1 Validation:

A rock is heard echoing through the caverns, that is all that can be heard and it sounds as if though it was coming from a distance and all around.

Neither of you two see each other yet....although both of you do hear what sound like faint footsteps and a slight rumble in the caverns....

I saw BC in chat briefly and he said he was going to be returning, but never did that I saw. This was yesterday. I'm not sure what his issue is now, maybe still sick. What ever it is, it's not fair to the players. But then again, His absence is not unusual. If this were not all in PM, I'd say I'll take over, but that's not fair to me either. I'm going to have to have a talk with him about this. It happens too often.

If Duni is busy, I'd be willing to judge this. I am rather busy this weekend, though, so I'll be gone tomorrow and saturday, but I should return Sunday.

Much of all this match has been in PM mode. It would mean that each player have to resend all PMs to whomever takes over. This would be my recommendation as there's no telling when BC will return. Being sick is rarely an acceptable excuse to me.

I am ok with this as well. If we must wait until Sunday to start, I would really have to wait until Monday as I will not be around on Sunday.
OUT OF CHARACTER
Stupid question, is there a way to forward a PM?

Then let's do this. Shai will take over. Both players will comprise all PMs (sent/received) into one PM, in time synchronous order (oldest first/newest last). These PMs will be sent to shai. Shai will then make heads and tails of it all and respond as he sees fit.

Or

Shai can give you the guidelines on how to go about fixing this, maybe just restarting might be easiest, as there's been no interaction as I'm aware of. I'll leave it up to you three to figure out. My apologies in this dragging out as it has.

Just waiting for the forwarded messages from Benji. I'll be gone for the weekend, returning Sunday or Monday. I'll be ready to continue this match when I return.

I'm sorry that I took so long to review this match. I have been reading the two entries, and they don't seem to match up well. I think that BC might have overlooked some relevant information, so I will, unfortunately, have to restart the match. Drik goes first, then Yen goes. Here is the format for posts for your character (rearrange as needed):

Round #
Swift Action:
Move Action:
Standard Action:
Free Actions:
Spot:
Listen:
Move Silently:
Hide:

Example: (Assume Zyss starts at M32)
Round 1
Hakbib:
Double Move action: Zyss has Hakbib move to M16 (Zyss is riding Hakbib)
Free action: Spot; Listen; Hide; Move Silently: (1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=17, 1d20+2=16) *Make sure you use SEMICOLONS between each roll. Commas result in odd formatting.

Zyss:
Standard action: Zyss casts Speak with Animals (Requires Concentration for Casting while Moving DC 10: Concentration (1d20+7=19) *Success
Free action: Spot; Listen; Hide; Move Silently: (1d20+3=19, 1d20+3=16, 1d20+8=16, 1d20+4=10)
Move action: Zyss strains to hear his opponent: Listen (1d20+3=18)
This is an example message that could be sent to me. As the DM, I could make adjustments. For instance, a cavern floor is noisy (lots of debris tends to make cavern floors very noisy when walking around, so a -5 to Move Silently checks is applied). Not to mention, the character moved at full speed, so another -5 would be assessed. Zyss, on the other hand, is not walking on his own, so he would take neither of those penalties. Then, I would compare that to the opponent's listen check and you might be able to discern a direction for your adversary.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

Are we starting in the same locations as we did last time, or are we re-rolling for starting locations?

Round 1: Slight movement
Round 2: Drik runs to AA24. Yen moves to O24. He has one move action left. I'll make up the map a little later. If you can manage, feel free to post in the meantime. The two combatants are visible to each other.

Seeing Yen, Drik will shriek in delight and cast a spell at his foe.
OUT OF CHARACTER
Casting Sleep at Yen. Will DC16 to resist.

His next action will depend on his opponent's status. If he is sleeping, then Drik will stay where he is for now, drawing his crossbow as his move action.

If Yen is still awake, then Drik will move backwards to AE24.

I'll update with a map if Yen wakes up. A crossbow (even dealing crit damage) can still potentially not be a killing blow.

He has a Greataxe and a Glaive (both are weapons that Drik is unable to wield)

When you say unable to wield, do you mean literally, or just with big penalties?

I ask, because he's only going to be doing a Coup de Grace which is (I believe) an automatic hit anyway. Yen's Greataxe would just do potentially more damage than Drik's crossbow.
