Welcome, Ladies and Germ to today's Matchup! shoults the announcer
Bone of the Bloodthirst school has challenged Yengretor of the Tailspin school! he continues
Both Gladiators will now enter the GIANT PIT! A roar can be heard from the crowd, gathered all around the large whole in the ground.

Both Gladiators make their way to their assigned position.
A few moments later, the START horn can be heard over the noise of the crowd!!
OUT OF CHARACTER
Rule Clarification: At the start of Combat, all weapon that are greatsword or smaller, bows and xbows are 'stowed away' on the Gladiator. The only exception are Pole weapons, that need at least one hand to 'transport' (and 2 to use!). So please consider this at the start of combat.

Reminder: This map has stairs leading down to the Pit's bottom - each stair is 30" high and should not be climbed once Combat starts, pending disqualification. The walls of the Pit are 10' high, and combatants should stay within the confine of the Pit. Flying is not permitted above a 'foot' height of 5'

Please roll your Initiative - the one with the highest Initiative can post his action as soon as he can to get this going! Note that if you need your Actions to be 'hidden' fom the other Gladiator, just PM it to me.

Just to really clarify the rules, is a greataxe stowed or is that drawn? (sorry not sure how that size compares to greatsword)

Bone is weilding his Guisarme and I am assuming that it being a pole weapon it is drawn? Your post confused the shit out of me as well.

No scabbard for a GreatAxe - you need to transport it in at least one hand if you want it with you

I need this clear, in case you wish to use your 2 hands for something other than wielding your melee weapons...

Our Gladiators are off.. but to a slow start! Looks like Yen does not want to get in range of that threatening weapon Bones is holding up! the announcer says.

Yen, hearing the insults about his mother, will prepare for a hit, fly into a rage, step up to K10 and do a full power attack (if still alive that is) against Bone.

To hit and damage if there is any (1d20 7=10, 1d12 8=20)

And misses badly.

It appears my round 3 action was lost (at least I don't see it), so if this is a duplicate I apoligize

 

Since Bone's 11 misses, Yen will attack with rage (2nd round of 8 ) and power attack.

Yen Attacks Bones (1d20 7=17, 1d12 8=10)

To hit is 17, and damage is 10 (if hit).

Watching his opponents attack fly wild since he was 10' from Bone at the time he took it, Bone will slice back with harmful intent gleaming in his eye.

As a side note, if R declares Yen would have closed the gap, a 17 would not hit Bone and he would then step back and make the above attack

Sorry, as I said, my first (much wordier) post was lost. I did intend a 5' step up to attack, but it matters little as Yen missed and then fell to the floor beyond dead :-(.

K, please go to youy school thread and give me a post to add your setup to. Once I've set you us, you can then keep track un a uniform process as everyone else, on your own. Or, being the Admin, Richard can set you up once you have given us a post to start you up in.

Bone Win- 2 VP 200gp Victory in 4 rounds.

Good match guys. I agree with Richard. In the future wait for validation unless your judge specifies otherwise. While it's nice to start and finish a match in one day, we're not in a race, and it can put more work on a Judge trying to weed through all posts.

You have a school thread. Right now, my post has all your school and champion's information. Go there and make a post, anything, i don't care. Make a post in your name. I will then transfer that info into your post so that you will then be able to edit and maintain. I have a formatted setup that I will be applying to all schools. This way everyone is the same. Does this help clarify what I'm asking, if not, I don't know how much simpler to ask. :thumb1:
