B1D) Zanice Songsteel

Zanice, a devoted follower of Torag, lived most of his life underneath the Lands of Linnorm Kings in the well organized and productive dwarven city of Goldhaven Hold. His fate changed when, while taking a rare stroll topside, he came across a young Birag Stoneshatter, lost and alone. He couldn't quite explain it, but he felt deeply that Birag was a child of his divine Torag. It was as if an epiphany hit him square in the face and he had to act. Zanice immediately took in Birag. But Birag was a half orc... and Zanice's people didn't take kindly to such an act. He was forced to make a decision, leave his people to care for this lost soul and raise him under the guidance of Torag, or abandon Birag, and his faith in the process.

His faith won out. So Zanice, with Birag in toe, moved to the fine city of Trollheim. Well--fine may be a bit of a stretch...
