Question to DM: Is it known to Morck if hiring Gnolls as soldiers is a common practice in the world he lives in? |
And does "purchasing the rights" to someone also something that Morck is aware of and that occurs in this setting/world? I've not much idea where to head with this conversation and my teammates are not very helpful at this timeCain Eyebright wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 3:49 pmCommon, no, but not impossible or illegal, as long as you aren't hiring them to commit crimes.

Its seem the party has become separated and Moe & Siril are out of touch with the others |
Moe turns to Siril and “Siril… Where are the others? Do you think we should go back?”

Addendum: Is this the end of the module - as we only need to run away and that's it? I don't wish to waste anyone's time if this is a done deal!!!!!!

That is much more common, especially in this kingdom. It is thought better to sentence someone to hard labor instead of death unless the crime calls for it. It is possible to buy the contract for the convict's labor term, and is cheaper than paying a free man to do the same work. |

No problem here if you wish to keep roleplaying out the module. And speaking of that... |

Thought I had replied to the latest posts, and just hadn't had any replies since we were near the end, but now looks like my update emails aren't coming through, argh |
Zanzer nods at Morcks threat. Morck heads up the stairs, dwarves following, and hears Coty call down just before he reaches the top. The workers glance at the group as they head out, but go quiet as they see the dour dwarves carrying their unconscious comrades and carrying weapons claimed from the bugbears. Everyone reaches the path leading out of the clearing without hearing any sounds of pursuit.

This being a play by post, I think we will call it there. Thank you to everyone that has been playing for sticking this out. If you want to revisit this world in the future, we can look at doing so. |

Thanks for running us! I had fun. This was my first Play by Post since doing something with Steve Jackson Games back in the early 90's on a dial-up BBS. |
