Mazer rolls 20 for his perception check.

Feeling full and content, Mazer will enjoy the surroundings before heading to his hopefully comfortable bed.

Falas perception ck 20.

After listening to the bard for a while, Falas finds his "rat" room at the inn - studies the rat necklace - is it a key of some sort? Assuming he is out of sight of the inn patrons, he casts detect magic on it - just in case. He spends a little time to better understand it - never know when that knowledge may come in handy, enters then secures the door - putting something that will fall over and make a noise if someone outside opens the door from the outside and retires for the night.

Falas, Mazer and Siril can clearly hear what Rudoff said when he left, while Van was not paying attention.

Rudoff said:

That poor Gnome must be in the first stage of Bleaching...
As your group prepares to retire for the night, you ascend a side staircase leading to the second level of the inn. A diligent employee, stationed there specifically for this purpose, carefully inspects the animal pendants adorning your necks before guiding you towards your assigned rooms. The corridors are intelligently lit by strategically placed torches that emit no smoke or heat, providing ample illumination to navigate the maze of passageways.

Each room bears a distinctive feature: a white animal painted at eye level on its door, allowing for easy identification and matching with the corresponding animal on your necklace. While the rooms themselves are modest in size, containing only a small cot, you quickly notice the numerous layers of plush furs and blankets piled upon them. It becomes evident that these additional coverings are necessary, as the rooms are noticeably colder than the inviting warmth of the central room downstairs, where the blazing firepit generates a comforting heat. Fortunately, the walls and ceilings exhibit signs of excellent insulation, shielding you from the harsh and unforgiving cold that lies beyond.

With a sense of gratitude for the insulation that safeguards you from the deadly chill outside, you settle into your assigned rooms, cocooned within the layers of soft skins and blankets. The subdued flickering light from the torches outside casts gentle shadows across the room, creating a serene atmosphere conducive to rest and rejuvenation.
For: Falas onlyShow
As Falas activates his ability to detect magic, a faint aura permeates his senses, confirming the presence of magical energy within his immediate vicinity. His attention is drawn to the necklace assigned to him, specifically focusing on the ivory rat pendant suspended from it. Upon closer examination, Falas discerns an evident flaw in the craftsmanship—a lack of finesse and precision in the sculpting, as if the artisan was inexperienced or rushed in creating this particular representation. It becomes clear to Falas that these necklaces serve a purpose beyond mere ornamentation, their imperfections suggesting a utilitarian function rather than being intended solely as jewelry.
