As per the Flanking Rule, yes. They explain it pretty well in that link!

:1action: cast shield cantrip

If didn't need to move to flank, then :1action: tell dog d to attack, nature 16

Seeing that Falas has moved to Flank.
:1action: Mazer will attack the Polar bear.
To hit (discord): 17 with flanking applied. If a hit: 8

:1action: Mazer will attempt a second strike as well.
To hit (discord): Miserable (2 + 2 (flanking) +2 (bonus after MAP) = 6.

:1action: Raise Shield

He will be prepared to use his Liberator reaction to protect any of the companions hit (Falas) that can provide 3 points of damage reduction.

ROUND #3
Combat Round #3
POLAR BEAR: Growling in pain and rage, the Bear lashes out at Dog H and almost skewers the poor animal in a single bite. The Bear claws finish the job; Dog H falls lifeless on the frozen ice ground, its blood staining the ice with red. The Bear attempts to claw Dog A, but fails...

SIRIL: Siril fires two arrows, but fails to connect. He drops his bow and grabs his blade. He tries to get Dog D's attention so it may attack, but the beast ignores him.
Drawing a worn item or changing how you're carrying an item usually requires you to use an Interact action (though to drop an item, you use the Release action instead). Table 6–2: Changing Equipment lists some ways that you might change the items you're holding or carrying, and the number of hands you need to do so
NOTE: (Mazer is not in a flanking position. Check CRB p. 476): ...To flank a foe, you and your ally must be on opposite sides of the creature. A line drawn between the center of your space and the center of your ally's space must pass through opposite sides or opposite corners of the foe's space.

MAZER: Mazer misses his two strikes and then raises his shield.

FALAS: Falas steps to flank the Polar Bear and attempts to connect with his rapier, but fails.. He casts the Shield cantrip (+1 to AC until next round).

VAN: Van tries to convince dog H (As dog H is dead, I will assume you mean Dog A) to attack, but the Husky is too focused on the Bear to listen. He then casts Divine Lance, which hits the Polar Bear (-6 HPs)

DOGS: (NOTE: You need a Line of Sight to a Dog to command it... )
DOG A is not commanded; it steps back from the fight
DOG C is not commanded; it moves 10' back from the fight
DOG D is not commanded; it moves 10' back from the fight
DOG E is not commanded; it moves 10' back from the fight
DOG G is not commanded; it moves 10' back from the fight

ROUND #4
Combat Round #4
POLAR BEAR: The Polar Bear tries to bite Falas, but is barely misses thanks to the Shield cantrip! The Bear then successfully claws at Mazer, who interposes his shield to prevent some of the dmg (-10 HPs, reduced to -5 HP thanks to Shield Block). (Mazer gains the grabbed condition). With the Goblin under his paw, the Bear follows up with a bite on Mazer (-18 HPs), who looses consciousness. (Mazer is knocked out, gains Dying 1, drops his shield/weapon and is prone)

SIRIL:

MAZER:

FALAS:

VAN:

DOGS: (NOTE: You need a Line of Sight to a Dog to command it!!! )
DOG A
DOG C
DOG D
DOG E
DOG G

NOTESShow
  • All Dogs are Combat Trained, which means they won't flee in panic - and you can use the Command an Animal action (costs :1action: )
  • Husky (Riding Dog) Statistics
  • The Huskies have :3actions: to work with! To simplify things (and give you a BIG edge over the rules) I will permit you to use only :1action: to Command an Animal, and it will follow this action, moving as needed to accomplish it. In other words, just telling a Dog to Strike will make the Dog Stride to be able to accomplish this Strike IF you are successful at your Nature check. And if it has more actions available to it, it will use all of these to accomplish this task.
  • The DC to Command an Animal using a Nature Check will be set to 11: This means that you need 11+ on a Nature check to give it a command. This will allow to see right away if the Dog WILL follow your command, or NOT! (Allowing you to try again without waiting for confirmation from me)
  • Consider this for the Dogs! Pack Attack The dog’s Strikes deal 1d4 extra damage to creatures within the reach of at least two of the dog’s allies

I'm also trying to learn it :D
And YES! you are RIGHT! Mazer would absolutely be able to use a reaction to Shield Block!! That would reduce the dmg of the attack from 10 dmg to 5 damage. Alas, that 18 damage would still get all through though, for a total of 23 HPs lost...
Did I miss anything? Do let me know if I did, thanks!

Mazer rolls his Flat Recovery Check: DC 11 = 10 + Dying Value (1).

Discord @ Whitefang rolls: 14.

Success!! Dying Value reduced by 1. For the moment.

{Claw dmg vs Van is 24 HPs...}

End of Fight
Amidst the icy stillness of the cavern, Van finds himself standing alone, surrounded by the fallen forms of his companions. The air is tense as the huskies, having lost all sense of direction, scurried away from the chaos of the battle. In this desolate moment, Van squares his shoulders, locking eyes with the imposing Polar Bear that looms before him. The creature, its once pristine white fur now marred by crimson wounds, growls ominously.

Undeterred, Van channels the arcane energies within, attempting to cast his Cantrip once more. However, the Bear's defenses prove resilient, thwarting his magical assault. Undaunted, he brandishes his scimitar and strikes at the beast. The blade pierces the thick hide, leaving a small but noticeable wound on the already injured Polar Bear. The creature, surprised by the sudden attack, retaliates by attempting to bite Van, but its jaws snap shut on empty air.

In a swift follow-up, the Polar Bear swings a claw towards Van's head, a strike that should spell doom. Yet, in a surreal twist of fate, Van doesn't register the pain as his consciousness abruptly shuts down. In the silent aftermath, Van joins his fallen companions in the embrace of death, leaving the cavern eerily quiet, with only the distant echoes of the recent struggle lingering in the cold air.

Aaminiut, one week later...
Rudoff, the amiable proprietor of The White Seal Inn, glanced up from his ledger as a towering, grizzled figure draped in layers of furs strode into the cozy establishment. Outside, darkness had blanketed the surroundings, leaving only the silhouette of the inn against the night.

I found them, the hulking hunter declared, closing behind him. He walked to the counter, tossing a whitish object onto the counter, resembling a sizable tooth. Rudoff examined it as the man continued,

The Beast plaguing your town was a Tatzlwyrm, residing across Whitefang Bay in a massive ice cavern. The adventurers your town dispatched managed to slay the creature, but alas, they encountered Frostheart... All the adventurers met their demise. No doubt about it, that Polar Bear was the culprit. Starving, it had a feast, devouring the livers of those poor souls...

The man paused, noticing Rudoff's paling face. A wry grin appeared beneath his black beard.

Ah, my apologies, perhaps too much detail. In any case, the sleds remain in the icy cavern. The Huskies, save for a few lost in battle, are gone. Pity they didn't deploy them all against the Polar Bear; might've made a difference. Let Bjorn know; I'll be claiming the reward myself. And a bit of your food would do me good, he added, making his way to an unoccupied table, shedding some furs, and settling down for a meal.

Rudoff shook his head. What a darn shame, Rudoff mused, sighing. How many more lives would Frostheart claim before someone put an end to the perilous reign of that Polar Bear?
