Is'nt that a beauty?
I made it with PDF reDirect, a free PDF maker - you basically just "print" to this application instead of a printer, and it gives you a PDF.
Check it out here - it's one of the BEST ways to email your character to your Game Master ! hehehe

HOW do I SHARE my CHARACTERS?Show
Please take a moment to post your character .tos file in the Adventurers [User Created Characters]! This allows others to use your creation in their game, and for yourself, it makes for a secure backup for your .tos files! Feel free to add any background information, images and documents to accompany your Character. To create your .tos file, simply use "Save Character" on the Control worksheet!
Thanks!!

No, they're not illegal. No one can copyright a file format, like with the .doc extension.Sunbolt wrote:Is that legal? I always thought the only way to save as a PDF was by buying adobepagemaker. But you see, everyone who uses the only sheet in our group has registered them (it sure made great belated christmas presents <giggle> )takei27 wrote:Not all of your group has registered the only sheet? that would make it much easier.
Only the "poor" schmoe(s) and the power gaimer have to use pencil and paper because we wouldn't think of letting them use our only sheets without compensating master admin!!!!
A good Open Source PDF writer called PDFCreator is available from:

I tried to download and couldn't figure out which to get. The 'read_me' file didn't clarify anything in my layman's mind. Any suggestions or help you can offer.spoirier wrote:A good Open Source PDF writer called PDFCreator is available from:

I use CutePDF, which is free and easy to install. The only caveat is that it creates a one page PDF file, so you have to print multiple pages of a document one at a time, each into a different file. But then, I guess you'd need the "full bore" Adobe Acrobat application for such extensive projects.
Over on Discord, I go by Gryphon

PDF Creation [MS office 2007]
Not meaning to spoil the fun, but just to mention that you can save directly form MS Excel 2007 to .pdf formats - which will make everyones life a lot easier.
They have Beta 2 out now for downloading, if anyone is intrested (not sure of the link, sorry)
(though i dred to think how much it will cost on reliase)

Sorry for not having checked back earlier to answer your question. Here is the official answer to the difference the AFPL and GPL versions and which to download:larenee wrote:I tried to download and couldn't figure out which to get. "The main difference is the Ghostscript version used. The AFPL version is newer than the GPL version, but the license is more restrictive. If you just want to use PDFCreator, then both versions are fine and the AFPL should be prefered, as it is far better. If you need an aspect of the license, that is not covered by the AFPL but by the GPL, then you should download the GPL version."
