Import .msc characters in TOS+

Greetings!
I'm trying to import my TOS character into TOS+.
The file has the extensions .msc, although it is only a fighter.
The TOS+ will not find the file.
Even renaming i to .tos will not do the trick.
I've read through the manual, the FAQ and the Wiki.
I couldn't find anything helpful for me.

Maybe I can find someone here, who can give me a hint, how to use my old character in the new TOS+.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there has not been any conversion tool made. If there are any software gurus out there who would like to examine the differences in format, I think many would be most appreciative, but so far, no one has offered, and Richard has stated that this will not be done.

If you're really in love with your old character you can open TOS and then open TOS+ side-by-side and then load you mcs into TOS. From there you can read your old character and just enter the relevant data into the new TOS+v2.02. It'll be a pain, it'll be annoying, but your character will feel fresh and new and he/she will thank you for making them new and improved; better.

Though some have asked, the "need" for a conversion system just doesn't exist. It's not likely it will happen. It's a minor inconvenience, but creating a conversion system would require more work than the demand appears to call for.

The Sheet is designed to simplify Character creation... So re-creating any characters in TOS+ based on an existing one in TOS FREE is simple.

This is why I will not 'invest' time for a conversion tool.
A 'direct' conversion wouldn't fully work anyways, as many things have changed.
