Hallow's Last Hope: Day 3; The Crucible Monastery

In the small town of Falcon's Hollow life is hard enough struggling under the oppressive thumb of the Lumber Consortium; a corrupt logging company muscling out any chance of competition and opposition. Even as a sickness strikes and begins to spread, the Consortium does nothing to help. When an herbalist learns the source and nature of the sickness, it takes a small group of trouble makers to find the cure.

In the confined space, it is unlikely that Locutus will be able to enter the fray. He will support the others.

Collin, seeing that space is limited and the situation well in hand, will stay back for now and will advance if the tide of the battle changes.

Locutus, seeing not much more that he could do, summons the power of his faith on Del. Del feels some more empowered.

Collin, Ryiad, and Illixian stall. Collin and Ryiad not being able to be of help, Illixian with no action.

Drini puts one of his axes away and grins at his friends. Now THAT'S what this is all about! He will then move into Room 16 and begin searching it.

Ryiad finds in a corner of the room a clumping of mushrooms. When you add this to what you have, you find that you need only a few more to be able to get home. Nothing else is in this room, though there is a flight of stairs leading down. But for what the Herbalist said, you're not feeling that the mushrooms are likely to be underground. There is a bit of torn cloth caught on the wall a couple steps down, but it does not seem too remarkable to you.

Ryiad returns back to the room he was in before, being careful of the trip wire. He sees a door is the south wall.

Locutus exits the wolf's den and open the door to the next room. Old cobweb-covered racks and armor stands
dominate much of this small chamber. What must have once been a well-tended armory is now devoid of arms and armor.

Ryiad will check that door for traps - Check for Traps (1d20+9=25), and if finding noe, will open it and search the room - Search Room (1d20+9=16).

It seems that map I meant to post earlier did not make it. This map shows what they see and what Ryiad now sees after opening the door.

This small cramped chamber holds two beds (one of which is covered in bird bones), a small sack, and an array of old tools. The other bed looks recently slept in. In fact, it's very recently slept in as you see a small reptilian creature. As careful as you were, you woke it opening the door.

Ryiad has a surprise round and is the only one to act.

On the kobold, Ryiad finds:
Combat Gear potion of cure light wounds; Other Gear daggers (4), mwk shortsword, leather armor, thieves tools.

On the spare bed is a complete set of masterwork artisan’s tools useful for making Craft (stonemasonry) skill checks. In addition, there is a small sack containing 62 gp in assorted coins and a single ruby gemstone worth 300
gp.

As Ryiad looks at the ruby and it's form. He then remembers the reliefs he saw in room 10. He begins to wonder if this stone wound fit there as the contours seem to match. He then leaves the room, finding nothing more to loot.
