Title:Dragons Born again
Brief description: The Gods But Two have left the Realm and the Metalic Dragons have left. Will you help the Headmaster Bring them back to save the Realm.
Rule System: I use 3.5 with some simple modification. really only one i dont do Attack of Opportunity. Also it is a gestalt game
Validation Frequency:Well in combat at least once a week. out of combat and Role playing when ever asked a question to a NPC i will answer it then.
Min/Max Number of Players: 5 min and 6 max
Start Date: As Soon as i can get the players
Source Books Allowed: Ask me and we can talk about it i have ALOT of books.
Classes and Races Allowed: I love ECL races but most races with in the level parameters are allowed.
Starting Level of PCs: Im thinking Max 10 but cant have a Race that goes over 6 so you would be only a 4th level character.
Stats Generation: you get 18,17,14,14,12,12
Starting Equipment/Wealth:Slandered for a 10 level.
Background Information: You all went to the School for Adventuring and know of each other but have not really trained with them. YOu have been out of school for a few years when you get a request from the headmaster to come back to help him out. who are you to say no to the Headmaster.
End Conditions:We go till you save the world and maybe even more after that.
About ME: OK i jsut figured i would put a little about my DM style before i got into the need to know info.

1> i do not play with Attack of Oppertunity so any feats that use it i have changed the rules for so if you want one let me know and we can talk about it.

2> I can not spell for the life of me i do try but even if a spell check i do not know the correct way of spelling so the word might be way off so please just ask.

3> im very free flowing. if you do not go in the direction that the heavey hand of fate sends you that fine but just know that the monstor or want ever might be there might get stronger like you are.

4> I award XP not just on action but what your character thinks or says.

5> I am not the best Programer in this Board so please bear with me.

I'd like to do a psionic character using rules from the Expanded Psionic Handbook and the Complete Psionic. What do you think?

I own both books and happen to be one of my fav class is a psion.

I was looking at making an Elan (one of my fav races) and kinda had two ideas floatin round in my head for class:

1) Soulknife (may or may not prestige)
2) Psion/Metamind
or
3) Monk/Zerth Cenobite

Let me know if any of these three are just out of the picture altogether. Will you allow items out of the Magic Item Compendium?

They all sound doable and I just updated since I had forgotten to put it in the original what I am allowing but Gestault. So that just opens up. Also if you want to add a template to your character and make it a ecl character I fully encourage it.

Yup I love gestault. They make the game more interesting. I remember the first time I did it on my table top I did one combat like right after they woke an the part was going to rest for 8 hours after the combat just to get spells back I said nope you just woke and your gestalt so now time to use both classes.

I would like to bring in a 9th level Fire Mephling Sorcerer/Monk if that is OK. I found the Fire Mephling on the TOS site and downloaded the race from there.

A mephling is great as I said the weird race is perfect.

I have one last question for ya, rednetra, lol sorry. I meant to post sooner today (technically yesterday) too but I was running a tabletop session that ran from 10 am to 1:30 am lol. Anyway, what's your ruling on prestige classes while gestalting. None at all? Only one while using your other gestalt level in a base class? Or will you allow dual prestige class leveling?

After I hear back from ya on that, I've thought about what I want to do enough to have a character posted up for ya within an hour or so after I see the reply

Still looking at psionics so ya know I'm still in that mindset as well.

Just a note, when gestalting, you cannot gestalt two prestige classes at the same time together. They would have to gestalt with a non-prestige class to advance.

If no one else wants to be a cleric, I can do it. If this is OK, I would bring in Melphos the Fire Mephling 3rd level monk/sorcerer, 3rd level monk/cleric, 3rd level cleric/sorcerer. If someone else wants to do a cleric then Melphos will be a 9th level monk/cleric. I can do whichever is best for the party. Just need to know so I can complete Melphos.

thanks Duniagdra for answering the question and thank you Kabkal one Duniagdra tells me we will know what we need. i have a tank who has not posted here and The Hunter will be the "spell thrower" even if he is a Psion, marine7312000 has the Rouge and Benji is the Bard so just need a healer and it does not have to be a cleric it could be a Favored Soul or a Druid or something like that.

Its no Hurry guys i have not even asked admin to get the Slot made for me yet. so take your time plan out your characters.

Yes i have Tried to run this story already on this Board and i think Benij and marine7312000 were in it then. The Hunter and Kabkal your new to the world so please stop me if i gloss over something because the other players have been in my world.

Also if your building and you are takeing a feat that works with Attack of Oppertunity as i dont do that rule just ask me i have worked around most of them one way or another. just ask me as many questions as you want im always willing to answer.

A note to anyone concerned: Although my character isn't a healer, he will have SOME curing spells. Don't expect him to be a full time healbot though, as his spells will be mostly for other things.

I will give a hint that you will be dealing with dragons. The fae (who I have been told I run them pretty cool and free) and that such so when you pick your classes the weirder the better as going for race.

Opps just realized I said if someone else was going to do a cleric I would have Melphos be a 9th level monk/cleric. I really meant monk/sorcerer.

Okay, not to copy The Hunter, but I haven't played a psionic character in some time. My build is going to be an Elan Soulknife/Ardent 4, Soulknife/Illumine 5, Soulknife/Soulbow 1. At least I think this is what it comes out to. I'm working it into TOS+ to see if the levels are right.

It seems we may have a lot of spell throwers and not a lot of fighters, is that correct? If so, I can switch to a fighter/cleric with no problems. If that is the case I think I will also switch races to half-ogre. So, if it is OK with everyone (especially the DM) I will make a 1/2-ogre 7th level fighter/cleric instead of the monk/sorcerer.

My guy will only be a weak manifester. He's primarily a fighter, but you can make what ever you want.

Kabklax that's a great combo. I do have one other person playing a tank he just has not posted on this thread. If I remember he is playing a psi worrier /fighter playing human. As for a lot of spell throwers you will learn I LOVE spell throwers and suck at using tanks. But if you wish to stay a monk or sorcere that's great and keep the cleric or like I hav said a Druid or favored soul.

Well, Ulyuk Bok is done. I've been looking at available options for Dorjs and there's nothing worthwhile that I care to spend the coin on. He's got 8K left to spend, he'll keep that for buying something else at a later time.
