question about PF
Could anyone be so kind as to explain the differences between 3.5 and PF? thank you very much.
Re: question about PF
Simply put, Pathfinder is D&D3.75: a COMPATIBLE improvement on D&D3.5rednick90 wrote:Could anyone be so kind as to explain the differences between 3.5 and PF? thank you very much.
MANY people consider Pathfinder to be WHAT Wizards of the Coast should have created, instead of re-inventing a new system (4th) that requires people to re-purchase all their books (this is why all my friends hate 4th and will not play it - well, that and also the fact that, according to them, it is an adaptation of a MMORPG to a table top game which looses all the 'flavor' of Dungeons & Dragon).
With Pathfinder (the rules are free here), you can KEEP all your D&D3.5 book as they remain usable in Pathfinder.
In my current Friday-night games, we play a old D&D3.5 module, in Pathfinder !!
TOS+ supports BOTH 3.5 and Pathfinder since they are very similar.

There is also a free 3.5 to PF PDF you can download from Pazio on there site. There are lots of little differences, too many to list.
