A ride in the Country Side

As you ride out of town know one seems too notice you leave at all. your leaveing from #12 and fallowing the river that is also fallowing the road. it is just about mid morning. and ever few miles you notice that there are hald building. 3 walls and a roof. they look designed that way. also a small fire pit next too it. you can all guess that it is for travelers. you dont pass many people on the Road till about mid afternoon. you meet up with small group of Halfling. two wagons being pulled by 2 mules each.

“Greetings kinds sirs. we are but a poor band of performers. on our way too the next town. might you know where it be.”you see heads popping out of just walls like secret windows. there is about a total of 8 heads that pop out of both wagons.

I sure hope you're intentions are not to take up a fight with us.” Tryz is uneasy having two armed halflings moving about. if any others do the same or similar, he will make ready for some bombs.

“No.” Ulath says shortly. “We're going the other way.” He nods his head to the travellers. “And we really must be on our way. Farewell.” He will then start to move past them, hoping the others follow.

“Unfortunately, it's true, we're heading in opposite directions, you and us. Be well and safe travel. Hope you fair well when you get to where you're going.”

“There is a town, just five hours back the way we came.” Ulath says. “There are no bandits between here and there that we saw and a lot of suitable places for shelter. If you wish to reach there before nightfall, then you could do little better than leaving now.”

he motions for the halfing to get back into the wagons. “be warned you that the road you travel is deadly.”he looks hurt and terrified. but get back too moveing the wagons out. then stops and looks at you again. reaches into his pocket and flips you a coin. “Let Hermes protect you” then the wagon moves on its way.

if anyone dismounts there hours they will see a pressed piece of coin with the caduceus on it.

It is just a metel Coin butafter looking at it more it seems to be a Holy symbol or could be used as such to Hermes the god of Theves and Traverls

after pocketing the holy symbol you mount your horse again and start down the way that the halflings just came from. you travel for the better part of the day all the while feeling something is following you. you also start notice that the sun is going down on time and that you happen to come upon one of the half buildings. Still feeling like someone has been watching you all day now. upon coming up to the half building you notice there is a hearth in the middle of it and there is a small fire already going.

Inside the shelter 5 Sleeping bags just appear out of thin air each with a Symbol of your Father.

as you enter the Shelter you feel the warmth from the fire and that feeling of being watched is gone and you almost fel safe. the Fire is nothing but normal fire. it looks well tended.

“Eh? Wha?” Ulath starts as if awakening from a sleep. “Uh... That was weird. Okay guys, looks like there's some sleeping bags for us over there. Let's take a rest now whilst we can. No need to set up a watch, I've got it on good authority that we're not going to be disturbed here.”

anyone who has not entered the shelter still has a very had feeling and as if someone or thing is watching them. the ones in the shelter feel safe and warm

Spooked by the feelings of being outside, Tryz steps into the shelter and is pleased when the feeling of security washes over him. He finds his bag and sets it a little further from the fire though.

“Will we set a watch for tonight?”
