Is'nt that a beauty?
I made it with PDF reDirect, a free PDF maker - you basically just "print" to this application instead of a printer, and it gives you a PDF.

Check it out here - it's one of the BEST ways to email your character to your Game Master ! hehehe

Not all of your group has registered the only sheet? that would make it much easier. :)

Is that legal? I always thought the only way to save as a PDF was by buying adobepagemaker. Isn't it copywritten? or something - or has someone been blowing a lot of smoke up my .... well you know.

There are a lot of programs like this one out there. I think if they were illegal, Adobe would have put a stop to them.

No, they're not illegal. No one can copyright a file format, like with the .doc extension.

But you see, everyone who uses the only sheet in our group has registered them (it sure made great belated christmas presents <giggle> :P )

Only the "poor" schmoe(s) and the power gaimer have to use pencil and paper because we wouldn't think of letting them use our only sheets without compensating master admin!!!!

I tried to download and couldn't figure out which to get. The 'read_me' file didn't clarify anything in my layman's mind. Any suggestions or help you can offer.

Its kind of funny that the notes are wrong. The notes list Moon Streak as a +3 scimitar. By the stats listed, it is only a +2 scimitar.

I use CutePDF, which is free and easy to install. The only caveat is that it creates a one page PDF file, so you have to print multiple pages of a document one at a time, each into a different file. But then, I guess you'd need the "full bore" Adobe Acrobat application for such extensive projects.

Sorry for not having checked back earlier to answer your question. Here is the official answer to the difference the AFPL and GPL versions and which to download:

"The main difference is the Ghostscript version used. The AFPL version is newer than the GPL version, but the license is more restrictive. If you just want to use PDFCreator, then both versions are fine and the AFPL should be prefered, as it is far better. If you need an aspect of the license, that is not covered by the AFPL but by the GPL, then you should download the GPL version."
