Newbie question about subscribing
Newbie question about subscribing
I've only recently been brought into "the fold" of DnD, and I've taken it to it with a passion. however, despite how absolutely awesome TOS+ looks, I'm inexperienced with certain online transactions. I want to be able to have a subscription, most likely for the full year. (It's unlikely I'll even have access to any form of internet after a few months until further notice) But I can't afford to have the subscription be a re-occuring fee. As a former MMO player, I know that those costs can sneak up on you. So I would like to know if the basic one-year subscription is a re-occuring fee, or a "renew-as-needed" arrangement. Again, thanks for your time to help me out.
Re: Newbie question about subscribing
Subscription to TOS+ grants many advantages aside from being able to use TOS+ (this is detailed here). Once your subscription runs out, you may or may not renew as you wish - If you do not retain an active subscription, you loose access to the TOS+ areas of the forum, including the free updates that are posted therein.
Your current copy of TOS+ will continue to work even if you decide not to renew.

Thanks very much. As soon as I'm able to find an accurate conversion (and up to date) from CAD to USD, I'll most likely be subscribing, thanks again!

Re: Newbie question about subscribing
If you go through the subscription process, Paypal actually tells you a conversion before you commit to the price.
Re: Newbie question about subscribing
That is not necessary as the Sheet is paid in CAD dollars... (which actually makes it cheaper for US residents )Shiney wrote:Thanks very much. As soon as I'm able to find an accurate conversion (and up to date) from CAD to USD, I'll most likely be subscribing, thanks again!

And, if you just want to see an accurate conversion, you can always google it. It will give you a pretty accurate conversion before you do anything through Paypal.
