TOS+ Second Year Anniversary Contest
TOS+ is now two years old!! To celebrate this event, we are having a contest!! Open to anyone, including existing subscribers to the Sheet, this contest starts on February 28th 2009, and will end on March 31st 2009. The contest is composed of 3 parts.  The drawing for the winners will occur within ONE WEEK of the end of the contest, with winners being advised by email and on this page.

 
Contest Part #1: New Subscriptions
People who subscribe to TOS+  will be automatically entered in this part of the Contest. All new subscribers will be tallied for the month of March, and one lucky winner will see his subscription period doubled. For example, if a new user subscribes for 24 months (2 years) AND he wins this part of the contest, then his subscription period will be doubled to 48 months (4 years!)

How to Participate: To participate in this part of the contest, you :

  • Do not have a currently active subscription to TOS+ (if your subscription had expired, then you can participate)
  • Purchased a subscription to TOS+ in March 2009 (click here for details, and make sure you meet the requirements to run TOS+)

 
Contest Part #2: Contributors
Active Subscribers of TOS+ (people who already have an active subscription to TOS+) are welcome to become Contributors or to increase their current contribution level. All new Contributions made in the month of March 2009 will be tallied. One contributor will be randomly selected to win twice the time period his contribution would have normally granted. For example, if an active subscriber contributes $30 to the project and wins this part of the contest, then instead of adding +9 months to his subscription period, +18 months will be added. If only ONE person contributes in the month of march, than that person will automatically win this part of the contest! Note that Contributors have a special ranks within the Community Forum.

How to Participate: To participate in this part of the contest, you :
  • Need an Active subscription to TOS+,
  • Need an account on the Community Forum (how to get an account)
  • Must visit this thread on the Forum to get instructions on how to become a Contributor

 
Contest Part #3: Testimonies
Active Subscribers of TOS+ (people who already have an active subscription to TOS+) are welcome to write a testimony of their experiences with the Sheet. This testimony needs to be a minimum of 100 words (and as long as you wish), explaining how TOS+ has been useful to you, what you like about it or anything that would speak of your experiences using it. All testimonies received will be posted on the TOS+ home page. At the end of the contest, the three best testimonies will be selected by the admin as winners, and be presented for a vote on the Community Forum. For one week, Forum Users will be able to vote for their favorite testimony; The subscriber whose testimony gets the most votes will win a +12 month extension of his or her subscription period, while the 2nd and 3rd place will each win a +6 months bonus to their subscription period!

How to Participate: To participate in this part of the contest, you :
  • Need an Active subscription to TOS+, and you have experience using TOS+
  • Need an account on the Community Forum (how to get an account)
  • Need to sign your testimony with your name
  • Need to check for typos in your text
  • Send your testimony to the admin on the Community Forum, in a Private Message titled "Testimony"
  • Realize that your testimony will be posted on the TOS+ Home Page.

 
Contest Rules and Restrictions
  1. The same person can not win parts #1 and #2 of the contest. A new subscriber who also contributes to the project will participate in both contest, thus giving him or her more chances to win. Yet, only the first 'win' will count toward the prize.
  2. To determine the date of the entry for a participant, the timestamp given by the PayPal transaction will be used.
  3. To randomly determine the two winners of the contest parts #1 and #2 , the Invisible Castle site will be used to roll the appropriate Number ID of the winners.
  4. Subscribers who are already Epic Contributors may not participate in the contest, although their Testimony would still be featured in the TOS+ Home Page.
