No, these Managers are created to support the original version of the Game. You can, however, purchase TOS 2nd Remaster, which handles both the Remaster rules and the legacy rules.

Recent versions of Excel allows you to print several sheets at once. It is just a question of selecting the Sheets you wish to print, and go into File->Print to print them. The selection of the tabs you wish to print can be done in two ways, depending on if you are printing adjacent sheets or non-adjacent sheets. For adjacent sheets, click the tab for the first sheet, then, hold down SHIFT and click the tab for the last sheet that you want to select. For non-consecutive sheets, click the tab for the first sheet. Then, hold down COMMAND and click the tabs of the other sheets that you want to select. Then on the File menu, click Print. Reference.

The Spell Planner is designed to be a dynamic list of your spells. But it can’t always display all the information about a single spell as it has limited space; some spells are many paragraphs in length! This is why the See Text tag is sometimes used in the description. If you wish to read all the details of a spell, simply double-click on the spell name, and the Sheet will open your browser and bring you to the spell definition available online (assuming you are connected to the internet, of course).

On the FRONT sheet, add your Staff as a weapon. Use the “Weapon” quickpick button, then expand the “Staves” section and double click on the Staff you are looking for. Do not add your staff to the MAGIC ITEMS table. The description of the Staff’s powers will be found on the BACK sheet.

It is possible to add your own text on the BACK sheet of the TOS Managers. This can be helpful to add homebrewed features you wish to see listed there. Go to THIS tip on the forums for more details!

Some Spells have an Heightened entry. To Heightened a spell on the Spell Planner, use the Level/Notes column to enter the Heightened level of the spell you wish to define. The notation of the Level will be updated to a different color and a “h” symbol will appear besides the level to indicate that the spell has been Heightened. If you enter an invalid level (like a lower Heightened level), the Level/Notes cell will turn red to indicate an error.

Cantrips and Focus spells are automatically Heightened by TOS 2nd, so you need not specify a higher level!

Checkmarks are useful for those who print their Characters on paper, then use the checkmarks to tick-off usage of the marked item. If you play Dynamically, you don’t really need checkmarks.

TOS+: Checkmarks can be toggled in the OFF-PRINT section of the FRONT sheet.

TOS FIVE: Options to toggle checkmarks can be found on both the FRONT and BACK sheet, in the OFF-PRINT sections.

TOS 2nd PRO: On the FRONT sheet, scroll right to the OFF-PRINT section, until you find the OPTIONS. Use the “Hide the Checkmarks” option to toggle check marks.

The simplest method one is to use the build-in function named EffectIsActive() which returns a boolean that answers that question. Wrap that with an IF() and you have the answer. Go to THIS tip on the forums for more details!

Many tables in the Sheet has a Modifier Source column. This column is (usually) located at the right side of tables and allows the definition of a SOURCE for the MODIFIER column on the Dashboard/Laptop sheet! hence the name Mod-Source. This is useful for abilities that are NOT permanent (i.e. using “No” in the Permanent column). So basically, if you wish to offer a choice to the user, you can specify WHICH values he/she can select in the drop-down combo-box on the Dashboard/Laptop sheet. Go to THIS tip on the forums for more details!

No, you do not need to add weapons selected in one of the 6x weapon slots, into the Gear table. In the case that you have the same weapon more than once (like using 4x Javelins), you would need to add three of these to the Gear table to account for their weight!
