In 2021, I launched an online Rise of the Runelords campaign (Pathfinder 1st Edition) on Foundry VTT with a dedicated group of TOS users. Now, after nearly four years and over 155 gaming sessions, we’ve completed our epic journey as of November 2024! With this campaign coming to a close, I’m excited to explore interest in a brand-new campaign. If you’re interested in joining an online adventure, fill out the form below.

This is a paid game requiring players to submit payment in advance. I will be setting up the new campaign in 3 phases:

1- Recruitment Phases: Finding Players, deciding the Day & Time of the weekly game, choosing the rule system and which Campaign module Players want to play.
2- Character Setup Phases: Tier Selection, Characters creation, Discord setup.
3- Start: Start the weekly Campaign!

Here are answers to some of the questions you might have:

Q: WHEN will the game occur (and start) and how long are game sessions?

A: This remains to be decided as per people’s availability. Sessions are about 3 hours long, including a 5 minutes pause around the mid-point. The current start date would be as soon as a group is formed and the target adventure has been decided.

Q: What is the cost to join the campaign?

A: I offer a tiered payment system to accommodate different budgets. Players who choose higher tiers will receive specific bonuses for their characters. The base Tier #1 starts at $20 USD per session, with each additional tier adding +$5 and offering increased benefits. Players can increase their Tier at any time, gaining extra bonuses when they do so. You’ll have the chance to finalize and see the effects of your tier choice during the Character Setup Phase. Tier bonuses will be applied through an ADD-ON (for numerical bonuses) and a notice (for non-numerical bonuses – for instance, access to extra books can be one perk of a higher Tiers)

Q: Do I need to own TOS+ (for a PF1e game), TOS 2nd Remaster (for a PF2e game) or TOS FIVE (for a 5e game)?

A: No; If you don’t own the appropriate TOS Manager, it will be gifted to you upon your third payment.

Q: Which Adventure will be played?

A: That will depend on what people want to play. I will coordinate with people to see which Adventure Path will be next. Every adventure path is on the table! If there is enough demand, I can even re-do Rise of the Runelords in PF1 (I do have ALL the stuff for it) !!

Q: How do we communicate during gaming?

A: We use Discord for communications.. The use of the Camera is optional, but highly recommended if you have the bandwidth.

Q: Will the game be hosted by The Forge or similar online server?

A: Maybe, maybe not; The Rise of the Runelords campaign was hosted on my PC (which is connected to a high bandwidth service) and it has been working pretty well overall.

Q: If more players apply then there is space for, how do you choose who’s joining?

A: Obviously, if there is too many players, I will prioritize those who are going for a higher Tier first and own/support my work (like Contributors). Another option is to open TWO new campaigns…!

Q: What happens if I miss a game?

A: Life has a tendency to throw curveballs to all of us from time to time! If you need to be AFK for a gaming session, you have two choices; Either your payment for that game is pushed back later, OR you gain a Hero Point which is added to your Character. This ‘bonus’ Hero Point (from missing a game) can exceed the normal of 3 Hero Point limit.
