TOS FIVE 2024 Free Edition has been released!  

This FREE automated Character Manager is designed to celebrate and support the new version (2024) of the world’s greatest role-playing game! While we are not affiliated with the creators of 5^th edition, our goal is to enhance the experience for players and help the community discover—or rediscover—the magic of this incredible game.

What is TOS FIVE?

TOS FIVE is a fully automated Character creation and maintenance Excel workbook built to support the 5^th edition rule system (2014 edition).

The Tutorial video on the right will give you a good idea of what the manager can do. Please note that it is based on an early 0.55 version, which was release quite some time ago, as the current edition is version 2.2.

Powerful

TOS FIVE has a very high level of integration, which allows it to handle all of the number crunching so you can focus on your gaming instead of adding numbers. It handles proficiencies, advantage and disadvantages and even shows a breakdown of most computations, so you can easily see how a value was derived from. You can even apply Equipment Packs on the fly!

Easy to Use

TOS FIVE presents printable sheets that are easy to navigate, so that you can quickly input your Character’s information. It also allows you to create a multi-class Characters.

Customizable

Almost every aspect of a Character can be customized should you wish to apply changes directly to it. Adjustment boxes are available everywhere to modify values on the fly, or you can use the powerful effect system to do it dynamically. You can create Custom classes or class options, races, weapons, shields, armor, spells, etc…

Dynamic Play

TOS FIVE has a Dashboard that shows a résumé of your character. It allows you to apply effects like Spells and Conditions on the fly as you play. The video on the right shows you how easy you can apply a Druid’s Wild Shape on the Dashboard sheet.

Community Forum Details

The community forum is where additional content for TOS products can be found. There, you can download add-ons and resources (ex. classes, races, spells, feats etc…) for all the TOS managers. It serves as a repository of knowledge, tips and tricks for users. It is also where Technical Support is provided to the community and where you can grab many of the free tools made by users.
