Aftermath of the battle at the gates

Esias advances to 0810 and lets an arrow fly at the retreating Dude (125 ft range, so +5 to hit, damage 1d6+3, crit 20/x3)

Thanis shoots, hitting again, and then hides.
Brand moves into the main street, and watches the retreating driver. He move toward the group at the gates.
Leenah moves up to the gates, toward the dabber.
"Okay guys that means that there will be a shitload more coming soon. We need to plan our attack." Shareev calls out as he checks the device to see the dudes positions. The device shows that some of the other flashing lights have come to a stop near where the wagon you sent away from the gate ended up. The rest remain where they were before. There is no sign of movement from any of them, other than the one representing the little fleeing vehicle.
Esias advances and lets an arrow fly at the retreating Dude. With a very accurate shot, he hits the driver, but the arrow bounces off the man's armor suit.
Aeless takes a bead on the vehicle and begins muttering some words [You cast True Strike, a standard action, and Blade of Blood, a swift action. You cannot attack this round, but both will still be in effect next round.]
The vehicle accelerates with amazing speed, tearing away. You can hear the driver yelling as the vehicle speeds off. [It is now 330 feet off the map, probably still quite hittable for Thanis and Aeless (with True Strike), maybe not so much for anyone else]
The dabber continues squirming toward the gate. Leenah asks, "Why did you jump off?". Aeless comments, "More than likely they will kill him, soon anyway." The dabber just looks up and nods at Aeless' comment.
Sam's voice comes from Shareev's wrist, "They're talking again, lad. Or, well, someone's yelling bloody murder and cursing, can't really make out what he's saying."

Jiam looks for the highest point in town with the clearest unobstructed view. He wants to get a good layout. He will also want cover as he has seen what some can do at great distances with some of these new weapons.
"Hey where did the thief go? He was standing right where that pile of goo is just a second ago... Uh Oh... There wasn't a pile of goo there a second ago. Dang it! We go through thieves like peasants through a dragon."
Thanis shoots and hits again. The vehicle veers a bit, but the driver manages to remain in control.
Jiam looks around and realizes that he is at the highest point he could easily reach [The domed roofs would be a little higher, but difficult to climb]. He also realizes that there's no readily available cover on the flat rooftops, the only way to take cover would be to go back to the ground level.
Shareev runs out of the gates to where the Dabber is in the ground. The Dabber is not gagged, so Shareev asks, "Do you happen to know if any of the jifs they had with them was equipped with a haynoon?" The dabber responds, with confusion, "Jifs? What's a haynoon?"
Aeless' arrow, guided by spell, hits the driver even at this great distance. The driver falls off the vehicle! The vehicle continues a little distance, then hits a rut and flips over, it's wheels still spinning.
The dabber looks at Shareev, Leenah and Aeless and, waving his bound hands, says, "Please help poor Pehneeteehth. Don't give him back to bad men!"

Jiam lays flat on the roof and begins scanning for the enemy. He does not focus on the downed man and his wheeled machine, but everywhere else looking for movement. A glimmer of light reflected off something. Anything to give him a hint.

Jiam and Thanis, keeping a close eye out, see nothing threatening. [The other flashing lights are more than a mile away, and on the opposite side of town. If Shareev checks, he'll see that they still aren't moving.]
Aeless shouts his comment about the dabber as he trots toward the driver and downed vehicle. He reaches the location.
The rest of the party gathers around the dabber as Shareev says, "Don't mess with me dabber. Speak up or we will leave you here to get run over by their jifs when they come in gunning for us."
The dabber replies, fearfully, "okay, okay, don't hurt Pehneeteehth. They not have haynoons, only regular kuhns."

At Brand's suggestion, the dabber replies, "Pehneeteehth won't get in the way! Pehneeteehth can help you, if you untie him!"
Aeless arrives at the dead dude and his crashed vehicle. He finds the dude has the typical equipment you've seen on all the dudes: a kel suit, a 9 meel supmayshinkuhn, a billy club, and some clips for the kuhn. The vehicle is turned on its side, and Aeless has no way of knowing if there's anything unusual about it, since he hasn't seen anything like it before.

Oldin's flying prayerbook circles around the Dabber, checking it out, relaying its general feelings about the creature back to Oldin.
Oldin says, "It looks harmless enough. If it was a prisoner of the dudes, perhaps we should look after it. Maybe it possesses information about the layout of their base."

Jiam, spotting no movement, finally makes his way down and over to the Dabber. Listening in to the conversation, he steps forward and helps the Dabber up. "He is not an "it". He is a he." Turning his attention to the Dabber, "Are you OK? Can we get you something to eat? Some water to drink?"
"Hey where did the thief go? He was standing right where that pile of goo is just a second ago... Uh Oh... There wasn't a pile of goo there a second ago. Dang it! We go through thieves like peasants through a dragon."
