PbP FORM
Title: Rise of the Runelords
Brief description: The fledgling town of Sandpoint needs you!
A sinister evil is awakening and has recruited a promising tool to his rise to power again. A string of murders wracks Sandpoint to its foundation. Plots and the history of ancient power becomes revealed as our heroes uncover the ancient catacombs beneath Sandpoint and a plot of a follower of Lamashtu to raise Sandpoint to the ground in ash.
Still, there's a darkness rising and our heroes are trying to get to the root of it.
Rule System: Pathfinder RPG Core Rules
Validation Frequency: Mondays and Thursdays for combat or more frequently of players post action before then. As often as possible otherwise.
Min/Max Number of Players: 6
Source Books Allowed: All currently release PF RPG Source materials. Required: Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide, Core Rule Book, and the latest version of TOS+. Future material may be permitted pending approval. Currently allowed, The Adventurer's Armory.
Classes and Races Allowed: All pending approval.
Starting Level of PCs: 1st. Current level is 4th, as of 8/3/10.
Starting Equipment/Wealth: By class and level
Background Information: N/A
End Conditions: TPK of campaign completion.
About ME: I love D&D and this is my first real time being a DM.

I'll have a look tonight at the class and see how complicated it is. For now it will need to be done as a custom class, but will soon be built-in in the next TOS+ release.rednick90 wrote:Im a little confused on how to put the class into tos. any hints?

CGM3 did a custom class using the playtest version of the Summoner here. That might be a helpful starting point.

well i got started on the summoner but still a little confused on how the eidolon will work on the sheet, in the mean time im writing it down on a paper char sheet. also how are the stats done for this campaign?

i have almost finished the summoner, but im not too sure how to add mutations to my eidolon, i got everything else for it.

ok i think i figured everything out. take a look and tell me if i missed anything or things aren't right. the eidolons mutations are in the info section.

For Allen, you've chosen Knowledge: All with 2 Ranks. This is very wrong. While it says this in the class description, it's only saying that the class has access to ALL the knowledge skills. Please let me know which one, or two, knowledge skills you wish to take so I can update my copy. Other than that, Allen seems fine as far as I can tell.
For the Eidolon, Chilong, I'm having issues.
For the Eidolon, Chilong, I'm having issues.
- For fourth level, the table shows him having a BAB +3, but in TOS+ I'm seeing +4. I've adjusted this on the race and class sheets, changing the BAB from Good to Average. Why do you have the Eidolon as a race AND a class? Does TOS+ not compute without a class? I though it only required a race.
- For the Saves, there are to be two Base saves of +3 (Good) and one +1 (Poor). Did you enter the formula for these in the class sheet? If so, it's not matching the table. Even when I change it to the selections of Good and Poor in the pull down menus, they don't match.
- The Skills. Shouldn't they be class skills, or racial skills? They're not entered on either sheet.
You currently only have Fly, Perception, Sense Motive, and Stealth.Eidolon Skills- The following skills are class skills for eidolons: Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Knowledge (planes) (Int), Perception (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Stealth (Dex). In addition, at 1st level, the summoner can choose 4 additional skills to be class skills for his eidolon. Note that eidolons with a fly speed receive Fly (Dex) as a free class skill, even if they do not gain a fly speed until a later level.
