Ardrea will follow behind the lead fighters. Communicating with her familiar Ahm Shere and call out where any unseen foes may be. Should a spot be located she will also command the whip to attack that square.

Round 2 Continues

Tex waits to follow Worrel...

Lola performs a merciful coup de grace on fake prost, and watches down the eastern hallway.

Round 3 Begins

Ardrea waits to follow the lead fighters...

Worrel moves through the mirror maze, trying to provoke the doppelgangers into showing themselves. He pauses after rounding the first corner, but sees a doppelganger directly ahead of him so continues forward to move within reach.

Tex maintains a distance a step or two behind Worrel so as to back him up with his bow. He's conscious of the fact they might all be invisible, and try's to stay alert for that even knowing it might be futile. As he steps up behind Worrel, another mirrored wall (purple wall) springs up from the floor, separating him from the paladin! [I rolled a reflex save that would have given Tex the option to leap forward and stay with Worrel, but it failed]

Cyrius steps to 0720 and stands ready to respond to any threat, concentrating his attention on 0721, which has now become a dead end!

Ardrea follows behind the lead fighters. Communicating with her familiar Ahm Shere and call out where any unseen foes may be. Ahm Shere doesn't report any hidden enemies.

Prost is on high alert looking for what may come...as he moves slowly and quietly, looking to the east as slides south. Since Fluffy doesn't remember his last command, he follows his master.

Worrel watches as the doppelganger in front of him (now W2) sneers and changes shape into an exact imitation of himself!

In the mirror to his south, Worrel notices the reflection of another doppelganger appear (purple D?). This one still looks like a doppelganger.

OUT OF CHARACTER
All of the blue lines on the map are walls lined with mirrors. W1 is Real Worrel, W2 is Fake Worrel, but only Worrel knows that for certain!

the doors where Lola is, are they two/double doors or one? She wants to crack the door(s)? open enough to get a crossbow line of sight down hallway but not fully open if she can.. Also relates depending on doors - she does not want the unconscious doppelganger visible-would move the doppelganger chair to keep him out of sight!

 

Depending on that - if she doesnt need to move the doppelganger chair she aims/readies action to shoot if she sees someone, She tries using doors as cover/brace her aim if she can, if she did need to move chair, then she preps to shoot down hallway - but cant be readied action.

They are double doors and currently wide open. Lola could close them enough to hide herself and the doppelganger, but leave a crack for line of sight and shooting her crossbow...

Tex definitely saw that it was a mirrored wall, stone in the center. Smashing through would likely take some work.

Ardrea will continue to communicate with Ahm Shere and relay any info on invisible opponents. If she can see a definite doppleganger, she will command the whip to attack.

Round 3 Continues

Lola closes the double doors to the conference room enough to hide herself and the doppelganger, but leaves a crack for line of sight and shooting her crossbow. She keeps watch through the crack down the corridor to the east.

Round 4 Begins

Worrel attacks the doppelganger that is now wearing his image. His first swing strikes through the air with a fearsome whir [crit confirmed for 14 damage]

After a discussion about the mirror wall, Tex waits to follow Cyrius...

Cyrius makes his way through the maze, arriving where he sees Worrel fighting... Worrel. He also sees another doppelganger to the south and continues moving to close with it.

Tex follows Cyrius through the mirror maze, but stops when he reaches the fighting Worrels.

Ardrea will continue to communicate with Ahm Shere, who doesn't detect any invisible opponents (other than the unmoving one lying on the ground at 0621).

Prost mounts fluffy, reloads his sling staff and prepares to move east.

Dashing Worrel 1's guard aside, Worrel 2 hews into him violently [13 hp damage]. After his second attack misses, Worrel 2 begins to back slowly down the corridor (5 foot step).

Doppelganger 3 attempts to bull rush Cyrius, who lurches in a rapid counter-attack, catching the doppelganger off-guard [presumed Cyrius would take the AoO, 11 hp damage to D3]. The damage distracts the doppelganger enough that the bull rush attempt fails!

You're fine. Cyrius' speed is still 30. Per the PF rules, Ability Damage to Strength "...causes you to take penalties on Strength-based skill checks, melee attack rolls, and weapon damage rolls (if they rely on Strength). The Ability Damage penalty also applies to your Combat Maneuver Bonus (if you are Small or larger) and your Combat Maneuver Defense." It doesn't affect anything else.

BTW, I only learned this today when investigating why TOS wasn't showing any change to Cyrius' move speed when I put Ability Damage on the laptop sheet. As usual, the sheet knows the rules better than I do :)

Except I think Mind Blade Rapier should still be +11/+6 to attack instead of the +10/+5 the sheet shows. I suspect the sheet is reading "(if they rely on strength)" as applying only to "weapon damage rolls," whereas I would interpret it as applying to the whole sentence. Makes more logical sense that way.

Cyrius has Weapon Finesse, so he uses his Dex, not his Str, for his attack bonus with the rapier configuration (which gives +13/+8).

Tex thinks he knows which is the real Worrel, since he was right behind him when the wall went up...

But, since he appears unwounded and doing well against who he thinks is the fake Worrel, he'll weigh options.

He'll step to 0821 after the 'real' Worrel vacates it (and notes he didn't swing at him). Can he see Doppelganger 3 at 0924 we'll enough to shoot him?

Sorry, didn't see that there was a question here. Yes, Tex can shoot at D3 from 0821 (or 0822). However, going to 0821 is not a 5 foot step; it's a 10 foot move because you have to go around the corner. 0822 is a 5 foot step and would allow Tex to do his iterative attacks...

Tex steps forward and unleashes a volley at Doppleganger 3. Once dispatched, the first two arrows waste no time, leaping straight to their target [13 hp damage total]. The second shot follows the same trajectory [5 hp damage]. The third misses.

Ardrea will moves up to the second intersection. She continues to communicate with Ahm Shere, who reports noticing nothing hidden.

Prost guides Fluffy through the maze. As he passes Ardrea, he notices a pressure plate on the floor to his right (0724) (thanks for the trap spotter reminder). He passes through Tex's position and then fires a +1 bullet at D3. The missile bucks and bounces off the creature in a stinging impact [4 hp damage].

The swift tip of Worrel 2's blade catches Worrel 1, tearing a ragged wound [11 hp damage]. His second attack misses as he continues to step back down the corridor.

Doppelganger 3 misses Cyrius twice, then backs around the corner. He remains in line of sight for Tex and Prost, but now has some cover.
