[NEWS] IRC Channel back UP!

In case you had not noticed the last newsletter, I re-enabled the IRC CHAT function for the site!!

You can access it by clicking the IRC Chat link in the upper Right of the Forum - or on the Chat link on the Home Page!

P.S. I do NOT do 'live' technical support in Chat - but I will do it for CONTRIBUTORS though (those that have Orange nicknames on the forum!) as my time permits!!

I use FireFox, with the ChatZilla plugin - of course any good IRC Client will do

With LordVorp's help, I was able to add the number of people currently IN the IRC channel on both the Home Page AND on the Community forum!!

On the Forum: You can see that in the upper right, besides the "IRC CHAT" button (if any users are online)
On the Home Page, that is viewed on the Menu Bar at the top!

Talal, the admin at urchat.net also provided assistance to get this done!!

I noticed that some people jump in chat, type nothing, then leave: Note that I do not visually 'monitor' the channel's window, even if I am logged in: It sits in the background, mostly minimized. I will get a NOTIFICATION sound if someone actually TYPES something! So if I am at the keyboard and available, I'll reply... !!
