ROUND 2 CONTINUES

Ardrea cackles to extend the duration of her protective hex on Cyrius. She commands the feather token whip to attack the despicable doppelganger. The whip flies out and careens into the creature [7 hp nonlethal and the doppelganger is grappled]

Resisting the venom, Cyrius empowers his mind blade with psychic energy and thrusts again at Spider A3. Finishing with a flair of rapid blows, he leaves the creature filled with holes and very dead [15 hp damage]

Worrel floats south, then dismisses the gaseous form potion.

Prost tumbles south, dropping his sling staff on the way and drawing his sword. He is just acrobatic enough to avoid any response from the spider, but he misses the subsequent attack. He does manage to eliminate a mirror image, though.

With A3 down, Tex shoots at A4. All three shots miss, although one arrow flies through a mirror image and causes it to disappear.

Fluffy misses A2.

Lola resists the poison and steps to give Tex a clearer shot at A4. She swings at the spider, but only manages to dismiss a mirror image.

ROUND 3 BEGINS

Spider A1 bites at Cyrius, but misses.

Spider A2 steps back out of reach of Cyrius and Fluffy and casts a spell creating 4 mirror images of itself.

Spider A4 steps into a flanking position with Cyrius, but misses with its bite.

The doppelganger struggles just enough to get free of the grappling whip, but passes out unconscious from the effort.

Cyrius attacks Spider A1 to take advantage of the flanking position, charging his mind blade rapier with psychic energy and thrusting at the foe with a cry of Athena guide my hand!. Athena helps Cyrius find the real foe among the images, startling the creature with his unexpectedly accurate lunge [8 hp damage]

Worrel moves along the wall to where he can attack the spider (A4). Once in position, he attacks with full force. His attack is accurate, but finds only an image b][3 remaining][/b]

Prost attacks spider A1 from his flanking position with Cyrius. With a twisting maneuver, he rolls his strike around all the false images and past the actual creature's defenses [15 hp damage, plus 3 bleed]

Tex targets spider A4. The two arrows from his first (many)shot are close enough to banish the remaining mirror images. His second shot misses horribly. His final shot slips silently into the spider, opening a painful-looking fissure [4 hp damage]

Fluffy bites one of A1's remaining images, causing it to disappear [1 remaining]

Lola swings again at A4, but critically fails.

ROUND 4 BEGINS

Spider A1 bleeds [3 hp damage] while it chitters something at its allies in an unfamiliar language. It steps away from Fluffy and Cyrius and casts a spell defensively. It disappears from view.

Nope ... forgot to include Flanking. So first attack would have hit AC 16. And, worse, I linked the 1st attack twice. Actual rolz for 2nd attack is below, and would have hit AC 20 with flanking.
