User Guide
<<UNDER CONSTRUCTION>>
The User Guide is the instruction manual for TOS. Beginners should first read this section for help on using TOS. Each worksheets contained in TOS is listed, with a brief description. More details are avaiable when following the provided links.
Special Worksheets
There are three special worksheets that are quite useful
Welcome Worksheet
The Welcome worksheet is the starting point of the Sheet. It is the first page viewed when opening TOS+ for the first time, and where Registered Users enter their Personal Key.
Control Worksheet
The Control worksheet is where you can Load & Save information. It is, in essence, the heart of the Sheet.
LapTop Worksheet
The LapTop worksheet has been designed for those who play with their LapTops. It allows the player an unprecedented level of play, by giving him the ability to quickly add multiple effects on his character! Note that even if you do NOT use a Laptop, this worksheet is still useful to activate effects that you always want applied to your printed Character.
Printable Worksheets
The printable worksheets are those that are perfect for people wanting hard copies of their whole characters.
Front Worksheet
The Front worksheet is the main area where you create your Characters. It has the classes & levels, the ability scores, the armor classes, the weapons used and all the Skill of the characters.
It should be the first page used when printing your character.
Back Worksheet
The Back worksheet has your Armor and Shield, all the magical items worn, the equipment carried, the feats your character has.
Other sections include the Spell table, where you see (or adjust) your spells per day and spells known, the Info section, the Languages, money and charges.
XP Worksheet
The XP Worksheet is useful for entering the amount of experience you receive each session. You can track experience by game ID and write notes. All of this information will save with your character. Most importantly, this sheet is used to track rolled hit points at each level, and even has an option to automatically assign hit points using an average (useful for generating NPCs).
Treasure Worksheet
Items are stored on the BACK worksheet, but character wealth can be tracked using the Treasure Worksheet. You can assign treasure to your mount, to your character, or up to two other locations. This treasure will affect your carried weight, ensuring that you stay within encumbrance limits (50 coins is one pound).
Notes Worksheet
The Notes Worksheet is where you can write anything from your backstory to your character development plan to additional formulas you want to store for later use. Whatever you add to this worksheet will save with your character.
Animal Worksheet
The Animal Worksheet has all of the stats for an Animal Companion. Usually, you will only use this worksheet as a Druid or a Ranger.
Familiar Worksheet
The Familiar Worksheet contains the statistics for an arcane caster's familiar. The familiar's abilities are automatically adjusted as a character gains levels in arcane classes that increase familiar level.
